Happy New Year crossed 100 crores

        Shah Rukh Khan's Diwali release Happy New Year seems to have joined the fastest 100 crore movies of Bollywood. According to a report, HNY collected approximately Rs 82.67 crore till early Saturday. And according to a Red Chillies press note, the film has managed to touch the coveted 100 crore mark over the weekend, grossing Rs 108.86 cr, with a break up of Rs. 104.10 cr in Hindi, Rs. 2.92 cr in Telugu and Rs. 1.84 cr in Tamil. These impressive statistics might get the film a place in the league of recent big releases like Bang Bang and Kick.

       

Happy New Year is produced by SRK's Red Chillies and directed by Farah Khan, starring an ensemble cast of Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shan.
